Roy Dale Holland, 69, of Pevely died Dec. 16, 2022, in Pevely. Mr. Holland retired after 30 years as the manager of operations for Ryerson. He was a pastor at Mt. Zion General Baptist in Ferguson. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, singing, playing piano and watching his grandchildren’s events. Born July 25, 1953, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Leslie and Madeline (Florence) Holland.
He is survived by his wife: Brenda (Gipson) Holland of Pevely; a son: Michael (Stephanie) Holland of Festus; two daughters: Crystal (Martin) Perez of St. Louis and Cassie (Philip) Brockhouse of Festus; a brother: Keith Holland of Camden, Tenn.; a sister: Rita Gipson of Camden, Tenn.; a sister-in-law: Andoria Holland of Huntingdon, Tenn.; five grandchildren: Abby, Anna, Andrew, Victor, Bella; and many other family members and friends.
He was preceded n death by a brother: Kevin Holland; and two grandchildren: Samuel and Baby Perez.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20, at Radiant Life Church, 11533 Gamel Cemetery Road, in Festus. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21, at the church, officiated by Pastor Randy Gray. Burial will follow in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Pevely. Memorials may be made to the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel in Festus.
