RoseAnn K. Harvey, 82, of Hillsboro died Feb. 16, 2023. Mrs. Harvey was a teacher at Holy Innocents for more than 20 years. She enjoyed wildlife, bird watching and spending time with family. Born Nov. 6, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Catherine and Benedict Hobbs. She was preceded in death by her husband: Kenneth Harvey.
She is survived by three children: Kathryn (Jason) Harvey Walker, Timothy Harvey and Regina (Mike) Harvey Absolon; a son-in-law: Mike Cain; 11 grandchildren: Deana, Stephanie, James, Amanda, Brittany (Jeremiah) Robertson, Bethany (Joseph) McEntee, Michael, Jessica, Maci, Nicholas and Matthew; 12 great-grandchildren: Morgan, Emily, Abbi, Jonathan, Hailey, Jeremiah, Joseph, Asher, Alissa, Alivia, Laila and Everlee; two great-great-grandchildren: Amelia and Emberly; a sister: Kathleen (Ray) Hobbs Brooks; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son: Kenneth Harvey Jr.; a daughter: Deborah Cain; and a great-grandchild: Lilli Ann Joedicke; and three brothers: Benedict, Matthew and Carl Hobbs.
Visitation is scheduled from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, at Robert D. Brown Funeral Home, 103 Fourth St., in Hillsboro. Morning prayers will be from 9:30-9:45 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will follow at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 703 Third St., in Hillsboro. Burial is in the Good Shepherd Catholic Cemetery in Hillsboro. Memorials may be made to the World Bird Sanctuary, 125 Bald Eagle Ridge Road, Valley Park, 63088. Arrangements are under the direction of Robert D. Brown Funeral Home.
