Rose Leeann Mattingly, 51, of Villa Ridge died April 16, 2019, at her home. Mrs. Mattingly was a homemaker who enjoyed drawing, growing flowers and animals, especially her cat Spice. She loved spending time with her family and is remembered as a loving sister and mother. Born Sept. 23, 1967, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Iva Louise Cartwright and Raymond Mattingly Sr.
She is survived by two sons: Brian Rogers of De Soto and David Rogers of De Soto; three brothers: James W. Bellew of De Soto, Raymond (Veronica) Mattingly Jr. of De Soto and Bryan (Becky) Mattingly of De Soto; a sister: Pamelia Duty of Sullivan; three granddaughters: Nakitah Krystal Rose Rogers, Aaliyah Marie Elsa Neal and Dahlilah Jerline Heart Rogers; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a daughter: Krystal Rose Lynn Rogers.
Memorial visitation is scheduled from noon to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 1, at Mahn Funeral Home, 900 North Main St., in De Soto. Burial is in the Woodlawn Cemetery in De Soto. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home.
