Rosalee Mary Dove, 77, of Festus died Sept. 19, 2020, at Scenic Nursing and Rehab Center in Herculaneum. Mrs. Dove was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Festus-Crystal City, where she loved to participate in the choir. Born March 24, 1943, in Malden, she was the daughter of the late Edith (Nail) Hill and William Riley Corn.
She is survived by her husband: Ira Robert Dove; three children: Daryl Wayne (Tammy) Allen of Etowa, Ark., Donald (Tina) Jones of Park Hills and Brian (Kathy) Jones of Pevely; three stepchildren: David Dove of Pevely, Celeste (Jason) Sauer of Bridgeton and Ira “Benjie” (Kristy) Dove of Crystal City; two sisters: Syble (the late Gene) Knight and Norma Morris, both of Caruthersville; a brother: Donald (Sandy) Corn of Malden; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters: Mary (James survives of Malden) Scoggins and Ruby (Robert) Williams.
Visitation is scheduled from 11-11:45 a.m. Monday, Sept. 28, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 6161 W. Main St., in Festus. Graveside funeral services will follow at 12:45 p.m. in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
