Ron Pott, 79, Byrnes Mill

Ron Pott, 79, of Byrnes Mill died April 29, 2021, in St. Louis. Mr. Pott served in the U.S. Army for three years and was active in the police department for five years. He also was an over-the-road truck driver and a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in House Springs. He enjoyed music, woodworking, the outdoors and float trips. Born Feb. 9, 1942, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Elmer and Clementine (Ketterer) Pott.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years: Mary (Anderson) Pott, whom he married in October 1965. He also is survived by four children: Cynthia (Kent) Thompson, Jeff (Rochelle) Pott, Ellen Pott, Robbin Pott; eight grandchildren; one sister: Rita Fehrenbach; and many other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by a brother-in-law: Tom Fehrenbach.

A memorial Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday (May 12) at Our Lady Queen of Peace, 4696 Notre Dame Lane, in House Springs. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 425 South Woods Mill Road, Suite 110, in Town and Country, 63017. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary in Cedar Hill.
