Rocky Lee Pruneau, 67, of Pevely died June 30, 2021, at his home. Mr. Pruneau worked as a mechanic for Kranz Auto Body and was a member of Fairview Christian Church. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, wading in the creek, golfing, and most of all the time he spent with his grandchildren. He was born June 11, 1954, in Festus, the son of Betty Pauline (Horton) Pruneau of Crystal City and the late William Ernest Pruneau.
He is survived by his significant other: Jean Marie Pruneau of Herculaneum; a son: Jason Pruneau of Herculaneum; a daughter: Jenny (Brian) Davidian of Los Angeles, Calif., six grandchildren: Tyler Pruneau, Aiden Pruneau, Mikayla Davidian, Grayson Davidian, Beckham Davidian and Isabella Davidian; 10 siblings: Cheryl R Escard of Towson City, Md., William E Pruneau Jr. of Bloomsdale, Jan K. (Warren) Glaze of Pevely, Dennis (Carolyn) Pruneau of De Soto, Karla J. Carter of Pevely, Karen (Walter) Hawkes of Patton, Chrissy D. Pruneau of St. Louis, Kimberly A. Braddy of Crystal City, Ernest B. (Neena) Pruneau of Festus and Eric A (Lori) Pruneau of Crystal City; two sisters-in-law: Tammy Pruneau of De Soto and Betty Pruneau of Pevely; a brother-in-law: John Yates of Pevely; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by three siblings: Terry W. Pruneau, Ronnie K. Pruneau and Debbie L Yates; and a sister-in-law: Debra Pruneau.
Visitation is scheduled from 3-7 p.m. and a funeral service at 7 p.m. Sunday, July 11, at Mahn Twin City Chapel, 515 Collins, in Festus. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel.
