Robert R. “Butch” Renick III, 70, of De Soto died April 4, 2017 at his home. Mr. Renick worked at Chrysler and retired as a machine repairman at GKN Aerospace. He was a member of the International Association of Machinist and Aerospace Workers and St. Rose of Lima Church in De Soto. Born July 20, 1946, in De Soto, he was the son of the late Robert Ray Jr. and Mary Ann (Gibbons) Renick.
He is survived by his wife: Imogene (Solomon) Renick; two daughters: Ann (Mike) Branson of De Soto and Amie (Denny) Nash of De Soto; one son: Robert R. (Sharon) Renick IV of De Soto; one brother: William (Debbie) Renick of De Soto; and six grandchildren: Colton and Kelsey Branson, Katie and Zach Nash and Robert Renick V and Tyler Renick.
A memorial gathering will be from 3-6 p.m. on Sunday, April 9 at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main, De Soto. A memorial Mass will be at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 10 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church 504 S. Third Street in De Soto, Father Alexander Anderson officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
