Robert Lee Siegel, 75, of Imperial died Jan. 12, 2022, in Imperial. Mr. Siegel was a retired Ste. Genevieve County Sheriff’s Deputy and a patrolman with the St. Louis Police Department. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Barnhart, the St. Louis Police Officers Association and South County Archers. Born Nov. 9, 1946, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Bernice (Krampf) and Everett Siegel and stepson of the late Allie (Anderson) Siegel.
He is survived by his wife: Linda (Gross) Siegel; three children: Kellie (Jay) Dawson of Imperial, Karen Siegel of Imperial and Robert (Carey) Siegel of Pevely; and eight grandchildren: Grant, Jayden, Riley, Kellan, Jack, Casen, Campbell and Dempsey.
A memorial service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 29, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 6500 Metropolitan Blvd., in Barnhart, officiated by Pastor Bruce Elliot. Memorials may be made to the Backstoppers, P.O. Box 795168, St. Louis, 63179-0700.
