Robert J. Hay, 87, of House Springs died Feb. 17, 2019. Mr Hay was retired and had worked for J.S. Alberici Construction and the Browning Arms Co. He enjoyed being outdoors and spending time hunting and trap and skeet shooting. Born May 28, 1931, he was the son of the late Lorraine (Doyle) and Joseph M. Hay.
He is survived by his wife: Eileen (Tyner) Hay of House Springs; two children: Marty Furness of San Diego, Calif., and Gregory Hay of House Springs; a grandson: Justin (Amanda Tharp) Forness; and a great-grandchild on the way.
He was preceded in death by a sister: Geraldine Knoll; and two grandsons: Jason Forness and Joshua Forness.
Mr. Hay chose to donate his body to St. Louis University School of Medicine. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made in the form of Masses in Mr. Hay’s honor.
