Robert E. Warfel, 69, of Arnold died Sept. 23, 2018, in Arnold. Mr. Warfel was a CNC operator with Intertherm/Nordyne. A graduate of Roosevelt High School and a veteran of the U.S. Army, he was a devoted family man who loved hunting and sports and was very passionate about fishing. He was the son of the late Afton and Lorraine Warfel.
He is survived by his wife: Patricia Warfel, a son: Derek (Brandy) Warfel of Festus; a daughter: Robin (Larry) Greene of Imperial; five grandchildren: Kanzie and Hannah Warfel and Lindsey, Kayley and Landon Greene; a brother: fred Warfel; and two sisters: Linda (the late Bill) Glasgow and Lisa (Mike) Akers.
He was preceded in death by Barb and Richard Lexa.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 27, at Kutis Funeral Home, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, in south St. Louis County. A celebration of life ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 28, at the funeral home. Burial is in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks.
