Robert “Andy” Nelson, 65, of House Springs died Feb. 13, 2017, at his home. Mr. Nelson was born May 6, 1951, in St. Louis, the son of Naomi (Erkert) Nelson of House Springs and the late Jake Nelson.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a daughter: Andrea Nelson of O’Fallon; two brothers: Mark (Marsha) Nelson of Cedar Hill and Matthew (Tricia) Nelson of Hematite; five nieces and nephews: Daniel Nelson, Casey (Brian) Layton, Alyssa Nelson, Ian Nelson and Claire Nelson; a great-nephew: Tyler Layton; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by a son: Robert Jake Nelson.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements were under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary in Cedar Hill.
