Rita Igou, 87, of Cedar Hill died March 8, 2020, at her home. She enjoyed going to the casino and watching the St. Louis Cardinals play. She will be remembered for her kindness and bright smile. Born June 5, 1932, in Nameoki, Ill., she was the daughter of the late August and Amelia (Kerr) Horstmeyer.
She is survived by two children: William Igou and Colleen Igou; four grandchildren: Sarah, Cari, Patrick and Geoffrey; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers: Carl, Roy and Harold Becker.
No services were held. Arrangements were under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary in Cedar Hill.
