Richard "Rick" Sellers, 65, of Barnhart died Oct. 9, 2020. Mr. Sellers was a retired heavy equipment mechanic with Leonard Masonry and a proud member of the Meramec Arnold Elks Lodge. He was a man of many talents who could fix just about anything and was always happy to lend a hand. He was born Sept. 20, 1955, in St. Louis, the son of Norma (McClanahan) Sellers and the late Fred Sellers.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 45 years: Alice (Brutcher) Sellers, whom he met in high school; three daughters: Tammy (John) Robinson, Shanon (Chris) Cook and Jenn (Brad) Soderblom; five siblings; 12 grandchildren: Blake Horning, Brett Horning, Cory Sellers, Lexi Sellers, Skyleyn Cook, Allie Soderblom, Marley Soderblom, Braxton Soderblom, Chris (Lexi) Cook Jr, John Robinson, Nathan Robinson and Paige Robinson; and two great-grandchildren: Jameson Cook and Elena Cook.
He was preceded in death by one sibling.
A funeral service was held Oct. 13 at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home in Arnold. Burial was in the Shepherd Hills Cemetery in Barnhart. Memorials may be made to the ALS Association, St. Louis Regional Chapter, 1950 Craig Road, Suite 200, St. Louis, 63146. Arrangements were under the direction of Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home.
