Richard Leslie Turner, 62, of De Soto died Dec. 17, 2016, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Mr. Turner worked in asphalt. Born Dec. 28, 1953, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Jack and Henrietta (Hudson) Turner.
He is survived by his companion: Shelia Van Sant of De Soto; two sons: Jeremy (Candice Highland) O’Toole of Pevely and Joshua O’Toole of De Soto; one daughter: Rachelle O’Toole of De Soto; one sister-in-law: Donna Turner of Hillsboro; one sister: Lynette O’Toole of De Soto; and four grandchildren: Lyllie O’Toole, Kadet Gorman, Patrick O’Toole and Dylan O’Toole. He was preceded in death by one son: William Turner; one daughter: Jacquline Turner; three brothers: Jack Turner Jr., Phillip Turner and Michael Turner; and one brother-in-law: Patrick O’Toole.
Funeral services will be from 6-8 p.m., Friday, Jan. 6, at the De Soto Community Center, 400 Boyd St. Memorials may be made to the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home in De Soto.
