Richard E. Riggins, 69, of High Ridge died Oct. 30, 2018, at Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis County. Mr. Riggins was an assembly worker for Ford Motor Co. and a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Born Jan. 2, 1949, in Poplar Bluff, he was the son of the late John and Opal (Webb) Riggins.

He is survived by his wife: Judith A. (Tripp) Riggins of High Ridge; three children: Timothy (Jennifer) Riggins of Fenton, Denise (Alex) Micka of St. Louis and Amanda (Ryan) Simonton of Midlothian, Texas; six grandchildren: Ann, Kenzi, Dylan, Cosette, Aiden and Jaelin; a brother: George (Pat) Riggins of Ellsinore; two sisters: Patsy (the late Carl) Jackson of Ellsinore and Hazel (Bill) Tripp of Ellington; a sister-in-law: Diane Riggins; and many siblings-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by a daughter: Tammy Riggins; and a brother: James Riggins.

Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 5, at Kutis Funeral Home, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, in south St. Louis County. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6, at the funeral home, officiated by the Rev. Ron Beaver. Burial is in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis Funeral Home.
