Reginald Lewis “Reggie” Welty, 66, of Eureka died Feb. 12, 2020. Mr. Welty was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed boating, fishing, being outdoors, music, fixing and making things, and spending time with family and friends. Born July 1, 1953, he was the son of the late Hersel L. and Estellene M. (Holsapple) Welty.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years: Kathleen (Landon) Welty; one child: Kristin (Ashton) Lake; three grandchildren: Hayden, Sawyer, Evelyn; and three siblings: Deanna (Jerry) Sutherland, Donna (Bob) Snook and Lenny (Fred) Kern.
He was preceded in death by two siblings: Barbara (Mike) McAndrew and Jeffrey (Martie Cox) Welty.
Visitation is at 11 a.m. followed by a memorial service at 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, at Schrader Funeral Home, 108 N. Central Avenue, in Eureka. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. Arrangements are under the direction of Schrader Funeral Home.
