Rebecca Louise Kester, 24, of Bonne Terre died May 3, 2020, at her home. Mrs. Kester enjoyed family beach vacations, crafting, video games, yard work and most of all, spending time with her family and friends. Born June 5, 1995, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of Cynthia Louise (Martin) and Michael Andrew Skaggs.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband: Zanescot Monroe Kester Jr., whom she married July 30, 2016, in Festus; as well as a brother: Ensign Michael Henry (Crystil) Skaggs; a nephew: Rylend Skaggs of Kingsland, Ga.; a grandfather-in-law: Monroe Kester; two grandfathers: Albert Earl Skaggs and Mike Ford; a grandmother: Frances Ford; two sisters-in-law; and many other family members and friends.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today (May 8) at Mahn Funeral Home, 515 Collins Drive, in Festus. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday (May 9) at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Shepherd Hills Cemetery in Barnhart. Memorials may be made to the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home.
