Raymond L. “Shorty” Davidson Jr., 53, of Annapolis died Aug. 10, 2014, at St. Anthony’s Medical Center in St. Louis County. Mr. Davidson was a mechanic. Born Nov. 2, 1960, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Mabel (Dockery) and Raymond L. Davidson Sr.
He is survived by his fiancée: Charlotte Short of Annapolis; two children: Raymond L. Davidson III and Amber Davidson, both of Annapolis; two stepchildren: Matthew Short and Anita De Guire; six siblings: Kay Korn of Illinois, Pat Davidson of De Soto, Linda Davidson of De Soto, Sheila Davidson of Pennsylvania, Beverly Clubb of De Soto and Mary Davidson of De Soto; and one grandchild: Trinity Short.
Memorial visitation is at 1 p.m. and memorial services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main, in De Soto, officiated by Carl McKalip. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
