Raymond George Daesch, 66, of Imperial died Feb. 22, 2023, in Cedar Hill. Mr. Daesch was known for his barbecue, especially pork steaks. He loved watching NASCAR racing and going to St. Louis Cardinals baseball games while enjoying a cold Busch beer. He was a loving and supportive father, grandfather, son, brother and friend. Born July 28, 1956, in Belleville, Ill., he was the son of Rose (Brosch) Daesch and the late Donald Daesch.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two children: Raymond Daesch II and Brittany (Rickey Bolin) Daesch; five grandchildren: Faith (Garrett Jurgensmeyer) Nichols, Lukas (Raelynn Collazo) Daesch, Hudson Parker, Carson Parker and Addalyn Bolin; two great-grandchildren: Harmony Emberton and Kali Jurgensmeyer; two sisters: Donna Morrison and Cathy (Craig) Daesch; two nieces: Nicole (Brad) Wilson and Jackie (Patrick) Lillis; and numerous extended family members and friends.
A celebration of life will be held later. Memorials may be made to the Arbor Day Foundation or in the form of a live plant his family can enjoy for years to come. Arrangements were under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary in Cedar Hill.
