Raymond A. “Redbeard” Guzy, 61, of Festus died Dec. 25, 2020. Mr. Guzy was a truck driver for Alberici Construction in St. Louis. Born July 24, 1959, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Susyanne (Curran) and Raymond Guzy. He was preceded in death by his wife: Susan Diane (Wilfong) Guzy.
He is survived by two sisters: Susy (Orville) Althoff and Jayne Guzy; a brother: John Guzy; his mother-in-law: Glenda (the late Ray) Wilfong; a sister-in-law: Debbie (Wade) Hampton; a brother-in-law: Mark Wilfong; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by a brother-in-law: Michael Wilfong.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 8, in the Presbyterian/Methodist Cemetery in Festus. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus.
