Ralph Edward Patton, 74, of San Angelo, Texas, formerly of Richwoods, died Jan. 18, 2017, at Midland Memorial Hospital in Midland, Texas. Mr. Patton was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and worked in the Washington State Prison System. Born Sept. 26, 1942, in Richwoods, he was the son of the late Ralph Byrd and Ester Corine (Hayes) Patton.
He is survived by his wife: Hermillia (Martinez) Patton of San Angelo; two stepsons: Edward Martinez of Texas and Leslie (Wendy) Thomason of Arizona; two siblings: Donald (Robin) Patton of De Soto and Jeannie (Tim) Linderer of Festus; and eight grandchildren: Nita, Edward, Gilbert, Laura, Justin, Danille, Bob and James. He was preceded in death by a stepson: Richard Martinez; and his hunting friend, Charlie.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Robert Massie Funeral Home in San Angelo.
