Phillip T. Catlett, 90, of De Soto died June 13, 2018, at his home. Mr. Catlett worked in maintenance at the Jefferson County Courthouse. Born April 29, 1928, in Clayton, he was the son of the late Joseph E. and Mildred Catlett. He was preceded in death by his wife: Frances Schutte
He is survived by two stepdaughters: Ruby (Keith) Sutton of Annapolis and Alberta Miller of De Soto; one stepson: Eddie (Glenda) Schutte of Mapaville; two siblings: Dale Lafayette of Imperial and Ione Grawl of Kentucky; and 15 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers: Joseph and James Catlett.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral services at 1 p.m. Friday, June 15, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main St., in De Soto, officiated by Pastor Derry Bowling. Burial will be in Blackwell Masonic Cemetery in Blackwell. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
