Peter W. Kriete Jr., 89, of Arnold died Jan. 21, 2021, at deGreeff Hospice House in St. Louis County. Mr. Kriete was a millwright for Ford Motor Co. and a Korean War veteran of the U.S. Army. Born Dec. 5, 1931, in Arnold, he was the son of the late Ruth (Speath) and Peter W. Kriete Sr. He was preceded in death by his wife: Ruby Marie (Kassebaum) Kriete.
He is survived by a son: Steven (Gloria) Kriete of Pevely; a daughter: Lucinda Kriete of Arnold; and three grandchildren: John, Daniel and David Kriete of Pevely.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. until a funeral service at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 26, at St. John Lutheran Church, 3517 Jeffco Blvd., in Arnold, officiated by Pastor Jeremy Schultz. Burial is in the St. John Church Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis Funeral Home in south St. Louis County.
