Paul R. “Snowball” Reynolds, 77, of Bloomsdale died April 24, 2017, at John Cochran Veterans Administration Medical Center in St. Louis. Mr. Reynolds worked for 36 years as a maintenance and heavy equipment operator at River Cement and Buzzi-Unicem Corp. in Festus. He also was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a member of the Festus-Crystal City Conservation Club. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Born Feb. 3, 1940, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Alma (Etheridge) Clark and Raymond Reynolds.
He is survived by his wife: Margie (Pouliezos) Reynolds; two daughters: Beth (Dave Monia) Reynolds of Ste. Genevieve and Rae Lynn (Charles Womble) Reynolds of Festus; one son: Paul “PJ” (Dr. Kris Sanfilippo) Reynolds of Chesterfield; five grandchildren: Connor Paul Reynolds, Holly Rose Reynolds, Jaxen Paul Reynolds, Rowan Sioux Reynolds and Noah David Monia; and one brother: Larry Wayne Reynolds of Pennsylvania.
He was preceded in death by one brother: Danny “Butch” Reynolds.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the funeral at noon Saturday, April 29, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main St., in Festus. Memorials may be made to the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation, P.O. Box 1245, Albert Lea, Minn. 56007. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
