Paul J. Kluempers, 68, Cedar Hill

Paul J. Kluempers, 68, of Cedar Hill died April 6, 2021. Mr. Kluempers served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service for 35 years and retired in 2015. He enjoyed fishing, going to the casino, and collecting stamps and coins. Born Oct. 30, 1952, in St. Louis, he was the son of James and Anna (Bourbon) Kluempers of Cedar Hill.

He also is survived by two children: Lisa (Nick) Kluempers-Meyer of Cedar Hill and Katie (Brian) Kinworthy of Byrnes Mill; six siblings: Michael Kluempers of Hillsboro, Kathy (Elbert) Cook of Cedar Hill, Patti (Mike) McCummiskey of High Ridge, Jane Stroud of House Springs, Diane (Kevin) Moore of Byrnes Mill and James Kluempers of Cedar Hill; and many other family members and friends.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday (April 8) at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday (April 9) at the funeral home. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Cedar Hill. Arrangements were under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
