Paul E. Dunn, 85, of Hillsboro died Feb. 28, 2015, at Big River Nursing and Rehab in Cedar Hill.
Mr. Dunn worked as a machinist and retired in 1987. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving from 1949-1951. He enjoyed fishing and collecting music boxes and old whiskey bottles.
Born Nov. 10, 1929, in Tuckerman, Ark., he was the son of the late Elzy and Amanda (Sherrill) Dunn.
He is survived by his fiance of 18 years: Effie Schroeder of Hillsboro; a stepdaughter: Carol Ann (Terry) Watson of Sullivan; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by four siblings: Ralph, Rushel and Richard Dunn and Joyce Kullmar.
Private graveside services were held.
