Patricia “Pat” Wall, 80, of De Soto died Jan. 18, 2021, in De Soto. Mrs. Wall was a retired teacher for Athena Elementary School in the De Soto School District. She was a member of the De Soto Church of Christ and the Missouri Retired Teachers Association. Born Jan. 27, 1940, in Williford, Ark., she was the daughter of the late Clifford Charles Reynolds and Monnie (Booth) Reynolds Norris. She also was preceded in death by a stepfather: Simon Norris, and she is survived by a stepmother: Ricarda Reynolds of Surprise, Ariz.
She also is survived by her husband: Frederick C. Wall Jr. of De Soto, whom she married May 23, 1964; as well as a daughter: Melissa Wall of De Soto; and two half-brothers: Clifford C. (Liz) Reynolds III of Fairfax, Va., and Jeffrey Scott (Alexi) Reynolds of Seattle, Wash.
She was preceded in death by a son: Frederick C. Wall III; and a brother: Douglas Bruce Reynolds.
A memorial will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday (Jan. 30) at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main St., in De Soto. The funeral may be viewed online at 2 p.m. at dietrichfuneralhome.com. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in De Soto. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
