Patricia Elizabeth McPeters, 72, of Festus died Dec. 5, 2020, at Festus Manor Nursing Center Mrs. McPeters was a store manager at MERS Goodwill Store for 15 years. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, shopping, thrift stores, visiting neighbors and spending time with family. Born Sept. 10, 1948, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Everett Joe and Norma Joyce (Hudson) Politte. She was preceded in death by her husband: James McPeters.
She is survived by a son: Scott (Jennifer) Sloan of St. Peters; a daughter: Lisa (Chad) Remley of O’Fallon; two brothers: Joseph (Mary) Politte and Ronnie (Linda) Politte; and seven grandchildren: Jamie (Mac) Exline, Jason Burnett, Taylor Sloan, Jarod Sloan, Ella Remley, Niam Sloan and Lola Sloan.
She was preceded in death by a daughter: Tammy Sloan; and a brother: Frank Politte.
Visitation is at 11 a.m. and a funeral service is scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, at Mahn Twin City Chapel, 515 Collins, in Festus. Burial is in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel in Festus.
