Patricia Ann “Trish” Womack, 75, of De Soto died Feb. 23, 32014, at her home. Mrs. Womack worked as a seamstress and was a member of the South Van Buren General Baptist Church. She was an avid reader, especially of history, and enjoyed travel, music and spending time at the Current River. Born Oct. 26, 1938, in Van Buren, she was the daughter of the late Comp and Katie (Jordan) Everhart.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Clyde Donald Womack of De Soto; two daughters: Rebecca (Stacy) Decker and June Decker, both of De Soto; three sons: Donald (Barbara) Womack of De Soto, Clyde (Linda) Womack of De Soto and Andrew (Kelly) Womack of Festus; a sister: Mary (Bruce) Putnam of Davenport, Iowa; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a daughter: Cynthia Ann Womack; four brothers: Robert “Cob” Everhart, Vernon “Sonny” Everhart, Charles Howard Everhart and Johnny Solomon Everhart; and two sisters: Margie Lanell Everhart and Wilda Mae Everhart-Hodge.
Visitation is at 10 a.m. and funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 27, at the McSpadden Funeral Home in Van Buren, officiated by Brother Mark Olds. Burial is in the Gresham Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of McSpadden Funeral Home.
