Patricia Ann Pigg, 88, of Herculaneum died Feb. 11, 2019, at Festus Manor Nursing Center. Mrs. Pigg was a cafeteria worker for the Dunklin R-5 School District. She was a longtime member of the former Assumption Catholic Church in Herculaneum and later a member of Our Lady Church in Festus. She was born November 29, 1930 in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of the late Viola Louisa (nee Hildebrand) and Chris H. Koenen.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Jesse James Pigg.
She is survived by two sons: Chris (Patty) Pigg and Tim (Margo) Pigg, both of Festus; a sister-in-law: Lorraine Burns of St. Louis; four grandchildren: Jerrod (Anne) Pigg, Megan Pigg, Jesse Pigg and Kellie Jo Pigg; and two great-granddaughters: Kylie and Norah Pigg.
She was preceded in death by a sister: Carol (the late Arthur) Zangraft; and a brother: William Burns.
A memorial gathering is at 10 a.m. and a memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, at Our Lady Church in Festus, officiated by Father Daniel Shaughnessy. Memorials may be made to Our Lady Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus.
