Patricia A. Walls, 65, Cedar Hill

Patricia A. Walls, 65, of Cedar Hill died May 11, 2021. Mrs. Walls loved taking trips to Memphis and Colorado, going out to dinner and participating in bowling leagues with her husband. She enjoyed watching her children play sports, helping with class parties and Girl Scout meetings when they were young. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren either gardening, filling bird feeders or playing bingo. She loved spending time wither her best friend, Faye, too. She also loved “hunting for treasure” at Goodwill and garage sales and giving away her finds to family, friends and those in need. She will be remembered for her friendly and fun personality. Born Feb. 21, 1956, in Potosi, she was the daughter of the late James and Mary Louise (Reed) Williams.

She is survived by her husband: Don Walls; four children: Christy (Tyler) Gregory of Hillsboro, Crystal (Geoffrey) Wells of Belleville, Ill., Candace (Tyler) Kasper of Wright City and Mark (Lori) Walls of Hillsboro; 11 grandchildren: Aaron, Alayna, Alyssa, Connor, Logan, Aliyah, Chase, Jack, Hunter, Isaac and Easton; three sisters: Louise (Richard) Brookshire of Troy, Donna (Mike) Bausworth of Ware and Barbara “Barbie” Reynolds of New Baden, Ill.; and many other family members and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother: James Williams.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral services at 1 p.m. Saturday (May 15) at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Cedar Hill. The family welcomes plants or memorials to the funeral home on behalf of the family to help cover the cost of a headstone. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
