Pansy Marie Morris, 94, of Festus, formerly of Ft. Smith, Ark., died May 20, 2018, at FountainbleauSkilledNursingCenter in Festus. Ms. Morris was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist faith, and loved traveling the world and collecting things during her journeys, including artwork, large wood animal carvings, figurines of elephants and camels, and other exotic or unusual household items. She also enjoyed creating and painting art in her studio, and flower gardening. She was born Dec. 10, 1923, in Oklahoma.
She is survived by a son: Roy (Abby) Morris of California; two granddaughters: Megan (Rob) Janes and Kelli (Ryan) Cronk; six great-grandchildren: a brother: Larry Hendren of Texas; a sister: Sharlette (Harold) Noland of Festus; nine nieces and nephews: Hugh (Stacey) Hendren, Gina Hendren, Brenda (Mike) Picarella, Doug (Tonia) Noland, Charles (Lina) Noland, James (Tamara) Noland, Bea Noland, Eva (Jesse) Kinder, Ginette (Phil) Dawson and Donald Henderen; and many great- and great-great-nieces and nephews.
Ms. Morris chose to be cremated. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
