Pamela Sue Woolard, 60, of Festus died Oct. 23, 2020, at her home. Mrs. Woolard was a long-time employee of the Festus R-6 School District, filling many roles in her 25 years with the district, and was a member of First United Methodist Church of De Soto. She enjoyed vacationing at the beach, making various creations for others to display, spending time with her husband and family, cooking, and spoiling everyone she loved, over the years serving as a second mom to many of her children’s friends. She spent her retirement traveling with her husband and close family friends. Born Jan. 1, 1960, in Crystal City, she was the daughter of Virginia Ann (Graham) (Joe) Soetebier of De Soto and the stepdaughter of the late Joe Soetebier.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband: Mike Woolard; two daughters: Jennifer Woolard of Festus and Jillian (Daniel) Tomlinson of De Soto; a son: Jonathan Woolard of Crystal City; four grandchildren: Molli Ragland, Landon Tomlinson, Claire Tomlinson and Stella Tomlinson; a sister-in-law: Nancy (Woolard) Myers; a brother-in-law: Darrel (Carol) Woolard; numerous nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother: Ollie Walker.
Visitation is scheduled from 3-7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main St., in Festus. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28, at the funeral home, officiated by the Rev. Stefanie Rustige. Burial is in Rose Law Memorial Gardens in Crystal City. Memorials may be made to The Washington University SPORE in Pancreas Cancer at Siteman Cancer Center. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
