Shirley Ann Reckert Pendley, 60, of Bonne Terre died May 29, 2023. Ms. Pendley collected frogs and enjoyed, working with horses, watching television, crocheting blankets for her loved ones and spending time with her friends and family. She was born April 29, 1963, in St. Louis, the daughter of the late George F. “Sonny” Reckert and Dorothy R. (Landwehr) Terry.
She is survived by two daughters: Amie (Michael) Bratcher of Festus and April McKinney of Georgia; three siblings: Donna Parks, Georgie (David) McGary and Randy (Gidget) Terry, all of Bonne Terre; two grandchildren: Kaleb and Juniper Bratcher; seven nieces and nephews: Shannon Boley, Rob (Jolene) Reckert, Dalton (Alaina) Clubbs and Dominick, Abigail, Dawson and Reagan Terry; five great-nieces and -nephews: Kaitlyn (Timothy) Boley, Logan (Patience) Boley, Jameson Reckert, Colt Clubbs and Sonny Boley; many other relatives and friends; and her cat, Zoe. She was preceded in death by her beloved dog, Chi Chi.
A celebration of life will be held in July. Arrangements were under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary in Cedar Hill.
