Monika Maria Love, 76, of Hillsboro died June 22, 2023, at her home. Mrs. Love will be remembered for her warm and caring nature, her gentle smile and her selflessness. She was born Feb. 2, 1947, in Mannheim, West Germany, the daughter of the late Joseph and Ursula Wyrwol. She was preceded in death by her husband: Harold Love, who died Jan. 15, 2011.
She is survived by three children: Michelle Hardin, Kelly Love and Thomas Love; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter: Christina Love, who died July 23, 2005.
A private graveside service will be held in the fall, her favorite season. Arrangements were under the direction of Robert D. Brown Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
