Maria “Elaine” Albers, 76, of Imperial died June 30, 2023. Mrs. Albers was born Oct. 14, 1946, in St. Louis, the daughter of the late Arthur and Merle (Jordan) Knollhoff. She was preceded in death by her husband: Larry E. Albers.
She is survived by two children: Vicki Albers and Steven (Amie) Albers; three grandchildren: Anna Lindsey, Maya Albers and Nolan Albers; a sister: Carol Sue Knollhoff; three siblings-in-law: Diane Bailey, Anthony (Sharon) Albers and Cynde Knollhoff; and many other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by a brother: John Knollhoff.
Visitation is scheduled from 9 a.m. until a funeral service at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 8, at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd., in Arnold. Burial is in the Shepherd Hills Cemetery, 1925 Old Highway M, in Barnhart. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Arrangements are under the direction of Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home.
