Lolita E. Fitzgerald, 84, of Imperial died May 6, 2023, at her home. Mrs. Fitzgerald was a retired office worker for Western Union. She was born Sept. 3, 1938, in St. Louis, the daughter of the late Martin and Irma (Mussatto) Koehler. She was preceded in death by her husband: David J. Fitzgerald.
She is survived by three children: Cheryl (Mark) Micke of Washington, Mo., David Fitzgerald of Imperial and Renee Ahrens of Imperial; three grandchildren: Taylor Gregory of Fairfield, Brendan Ahrens of Imperial and Kaitlin Ahrens of Imperial; a brother: Conrad (Carol) Koehler of Greenville, Pa.; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a sister: Irene Bolin.
Visitation is scheduled from 10:30 a.m. until a funeral service at 12:30 p.m. Friday, May 12, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 6500 Metropolitan Blvd., in Barnhart. Burial will follow in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis Funeral Home in south St. Louis County.
