Glenda S. Clark 68, of De Soto died May 17, 2023, in De Soto. Ms. Clark worked for the De Soto Shoe Factory and was a homemaker for 43 years. While raising her family, she went back to school and earned her GED. She enjoyed sewing clothing for her family, watching television shows such as The Walking Dead, Black-ish and Everybody Loves Raymond, and spending time with her family and friends. Born June 22, 1954, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of Edith (Burns) Davis of De Soto and the late Glenn Davis.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by two sons: Bradley (Amanda Taylor) Clark Jr. and Glen (Felicia Dobbs) Clark, both of De Soto; two brothers: Dale (Angie) Davis and Gary (Linda Hoker) Davis, both of De Soto; a sister: Janet (Cliff Wilson) Hill of Cadet; 11 grandchildren: Daniel Clark, Kayden Phillips, Cara Wiser, Scotty Wiser, Kenny Wilkerson, Audrey Clark, Debbie Clark, Caleb Smith, Emily Smith, Luke Smith and David Smith; and her cat: Meow Meow. She was preceded in death by a sister: Cheryl Nelson; and a special cat: Casper.
Visitation is scheduled from noon until a funeral service at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 23, at Mahn Funeral Home, 900 Main St., in De Soto. Burial is in the Charter Memorial Garden Cemetery in Festus.
