William Wilson “Bill” McCune, 84, of Festus died Oct. 22, 2025, in St. Louis. Mr. McCune was a member of Selma American Baptist Church. He enjoyed watching and attending NASCAR races, driving his Corvette and spending time with his grandchildren. Born July 18, 1941, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Ethel I. (Baldwin) and Wilson B. McCune.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Kathleen Frances McCune.
He is survived by three sons: Keith (Laura) McCune of Barnhart, Kevin (Kelly) McCune of Mountain Home, Ark., and Christopher (Amy) McCune of Johnstown, Colo.; a daughter: Jana Kelley of De Soto; a brother: James (Sharon) McCune of O'Fallon; two brothers-in-law: Randy Neumann of Bridgeton and Melvin Lore of St. Louis; seven grandchildren: Linda McCune, Jeffrey McCune, Matthew (Stephanie) McCune, Benjamin (Kaylee) McCune, Melissa (Derrick) Gibson, Emma (Bryan) Kelley and Katherine McCune; four great-grandchildren: Jameson, Lexa, Griffin and Sloan; and many other family members and friends.
He also was preceded in death by a brother: Roy McCune; two sisters: Carol Lore and Ruby Neumann; and a grandson: Aaron Phipps.
Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel in Festus.
