William A. Jeude, 93, of Pevely died Dec. 13, 2025, at his home. Mr. Jeude was a U.S. Army veteran and served in the Korean War. After his service, he worked as a carpenter, building custom homes throughout Jefferson County. He loved to garden and spend time trout fishing along the banks of Bennett Springs with family members. He was known for his love of jokes and his storytelling ability. He will be remembered for his smile, hard work, craftsmanship, faith in God, patience and quiet courage. Born July 4, 1932, in Pevely, he was the son of the late Olga S. (Gieselman) and William C. Jeude.
He is survived by his wife: Elaine (Senne) Jeude, whom he married on April 23, 1960; two children: Michelle (Harry) Goodwin of Louisburg, Kan., and Michael (Jeannie Baumgartner) Jeude of Hillsboro; seven grandchildren: Rachel (Joel Cornwell) Goodwin of Belton, Nathan (Sarah) Goodwin of Chandler, Ariz., Michael (Ally) Jeude Jr. of Arnold, Heather (Austin) Hyde of Nixa, Joe Baumgartner of Festus, Nick Baumgartner of Hillsboro and Chris Baumgartner of Hillsboro; 11 great-grandchildren: Camden, Hunter, Roran, Cooper, Lachlan, Freya, Hayes, Cailey, Elise, Joseph, Dahlia; six siblings: Alveda, Bernice, Lucille, Al, Betty and Janet; and numerous other family members and friends.
Visitation is scheduled from 3-7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 21, at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, in St. Louis County. Visitation will continue from 9 a.m. until services at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 22, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 6500 Metropolitan Blvd., in Barnhart, 63012. Interment will follow in Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery in Pevely. Memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis South County Chapel.
