Virginia A. Richardson, 81, of House Springs died Feb. 2, 2025, in St. Louis. Mrs. Richardson was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan, and she coached her son's little league teams. She donated to many charities and ministries. She was devoted to and enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be remembered for her generous heart. Born April 9, 1943, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Mable (Boden) Erwin.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Leonard E. Richardson.
She is survived by two children: Craig (Anna) Richardson and Leonard “Lenny” (Angela) Richardson; four grandchildren: Amy (Jeff) Holley, Craig (Brittany) Richardson Jr., Jessi Knight and Alene Richardson; four great-grandchildren: Harrison, Hunter, Austin and Kaylee Sue; two siblings: Kathy Samarzich and Lee Erwin; and many other family members and friends.
Visitation is scheduled from 10:30 a.m. until a funeral service at 11:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 10, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Faith Community Church, 4824 Scottsdale Road, in House Springs, 63051. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
