Parrish, Trevor

Trevor John Parrish, 31, of House Springs died Nov. 21, 2025, after a battle with Duchenne’s Muscular Dystrophy. Mr. Parrish raced motocross from age 5 to 10, earning many trophies. He learned CNC machining and programming for NASA’s International Space Station at Austin High School in Alabama and received the Student of the Year Award at the Capitol in 2013 from the governor of Alabama. He then began racing remote-controlled off-road cars and became the first wheelchair racer to podium at an AMS national level race in 2018 in Cullman, Ala. He was a successful deer hunter and a well-known photographer of animals and more. He attended First Free Evangelical church in West County and was a longtime member of its men’s group Bible study. Born July 22, 1994, he was the son of Mark and Rhonda Parrish.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his grandfather: Jack Moody; aunts and uncles: Jeff and Cindy Ressler, Marlene and Duane Hada and Amy Moody; and many other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by grandparents: Loretta Moody and Marielen Parrish; an aunt: Marie Moody; a sister: Chelsie Marie Moody; and a twin brother: Tyler Andrew Parrish.

Visitation is scheduled from 11 a.m. until a funeral service at noon Saturday, Dec. 6, at First Free Evangelical Church, 1375 Carmen Road, in Ballwin. Interment will immediately follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Cedar Hill, Missouri 63016. A luncheon will be held after the graveside service back at First Free Evangelical Church at 3 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary in Cedar Hill.
