Trenna Louise Hale, 81, of Festus died Jan. 11, 2026, in her home. Mrs. Hale enjoyed watching her husband, son, and grandchildren at the racetrack, tending her gardens, spending time outdoors, sewing and working on puzzles and word searches. Born March 11, 1944, in Puxico, she was the daughter of the late Naman and Rita (Watson) Caldwell.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ray Hale.
She is survived by a son: Doug (Jenna) Hale of Pevely; two brothers: Larry (Darlene) Caldwell of Imperial and Garry (Carolyn) Caldwell of Hillsboro; a sister: Gayle (John) Miller of Millstadt, Ill.; a son-in-law: Norvel “Sunny” Lucas of Herculaneum; four grandchildren: Brooke (Dominic) Saputo, Megan Lucas, Kennedy Hale and Cohen Hale; a great-grandson, Luca; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Hale was also preceded in death by a daughter: Renee Lucas.
Visitation will be from 2-6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 18, at Mahn Funeral Home Twin City Chapel, 515 Collins Drive, in Festus. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 19, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens, 1101 Missouri Ave., in Crystal City.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home Twin City Chapel.
