Tonya Louise Perkins, 57, of Bloomsdale died Dec. 24, 2025, at her home. Mrs. Perkins loved spending time with and caring for her family and friends. She enjoyed tanning, swimming and the warmth of the outdoors. She also loved dancing. She will be remembered for her joyful spirit. Born July 3, 1968, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of Vickie Louise (Arnold) Triplett of Imperial and her biological father, the late James Edward Mudd. She was the daughter of the late Loyd Triplett.
She is survived by her husband of nine years: Jeffrey Dale Perkins of Bloomsdale, whom she married on Oct. 22, 2016, in St. Louis; a son: Dion C. Watson Jr. of Bloomsdale; a stepdaughter: Madison Justine (fiance Robbie) Perkins of Utah; three brothers: Loyd Triplett of Imperial, Tom Triplett of Imperial and Mathew Mudd of Kentucky; a sister: Billie Jo Mudd of Kentucky; a grandson: Wylde Dion Christian Watson; and many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by a brother: Edward Mudd; and her first husband: Dion C. Watson Sr.
Visitation is scheduled from 1 p.m. until services at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 11, at Mahn Twin City Chapel, 515 Collins Drive, in Festus, officiated by the Rev. Ryan Sutton. Memorials may be made to the fund being established at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel.
