Tamra Jean Yglesia, 63, of Festus died April 19, 2026, at her home. Mrs. Yglesia loved spending time with her family. Her favorite pastime was listening to music and being outdoors. She will be remembered for her strength. Born April 23, 1962, in Washington, she was the daughter of the late Shirley (Tessmer) and George Jones.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Rex Manuel Yglesia.
She is survived by six children: Jordan Yglesia of Arnold, Ashley Yglesia of St. Louis, Jared Yglesia of Festus and Lukus Yglesia of Festus, James Hoeft of St. Charles and Jamie Berkel of Washington; and a sister: Debbie (the late Paul) Gould of Byrnes Mill.
Visitation is scheduled from noon until funeral services at 1:30 p.m. Friday, April 24, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main St., in Festus, officiated by Father Steve Lian. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Crystal City. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
