Steven Wayne “Steve” Keath, 60, of De Soto died Feb. 23, 2025, at his home. Mr. Keath was a bricklayer who had owned and operated Masonry Builders. Born Oct. 25, 1964, in Crystal City, he was the son of Billy Joe and Ruth Ann (Falch) Keath of De Soto.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife: Mary Beth (Boyer) Keath; three children: Garrett Keath of De Soto, Kaitlyn “Katie” (Cole) Koch of Hillsboro and Krystin Keath of De Soto; a granddaughter: Kendall Koch; a grandson on the way; and a sister: Caroline (Stephen) Meyers of De Soto.
Visitation is scheduled from 4 p.m. until a funeral service at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 27, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main, in De Soto, officiated by the Rev. Ron Duncan. Memorials may be made to “A Night to Shine” c/o St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church, 1004 Rock Road, De Soto, 63020. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
