Sharon Kay (Phillips) Means, 73, of Arnold died July 11, 2024, at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis County. Mrs. Means enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She will be remembered for her strength and hardworking nature. Born Nov. 14, 1950, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Dorothy and Ervin Phillips.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Lanny Joe Means
She is survived by three children: Ann (Wendell Elms) Lingenfelter, DeeDee (Travis) Butler and Joe (Misty) Means; 12 grandchildren: Patrick Lingenfelter, Peyton Rogers, Tyler Brewer, Garrett Means, Wyatt Means, Nichole Graham, Katelyn Means, Hannah Means, Darrin Means, Dakota Butler, Sami Mullins and Brett Butler; a sibling: Roger Phillips; and four nieces and nephews: Tina Bueker, Scott Phillips, Kevin Phillips and Mike Creamer.
She was preceded in death by two children: Brian Keith Means and Darrin Philip Means; a sister: Sandra Creamer; two nieces: Karen Creamer-Rodgers and Kelley Creamer-Shibles; and her sister-in-law: Linda Phillips.
A celebration of life will take place at a later date. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Arrangements are under the direction of Schrader Funeral Home in Ballwin.
