Sharon E. Garrison, 81, of Hillsboro died Feb. 22, 2025, at her home. Born Oct. 9, 1943, in Centralia, Ill., Mrs. Garrison was the daughter of the late Bernice (Simmons) and Carroll E. Benjamin.
She is survived by her husband: Clarence Garrison, whom she married on Nov. 11, 1960; three daughters: Chris Tina (Michael) Nichols of St. Charles, Tracy Brothers of Hillsboro and Bobbie Garrison of Miami, Fla.; five grandchildren: Crystal M. Little, Brandon Brothers, Trenton Nichols, Meghan Brothers and Cameron Nichols; three great-grandchildren: Conner Little, Tori Brothers and Sage Nichols; two brothers: Albert Benjamin of Salem, Ill., and Richard Hopkins of Salem, Ill.; and two sisters: Phyllis Lange of Pompano Beach, Fla., and Rose Porter of Pompano Beach, Fla.
She was preceded in death by three brothers: Irvin Benjamin, Darrell Benjamin and James Benjamin; and two sisters: Ida Mae Benjamin and Carolyn Absher.
Services will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus.
