Sharon A. Hillman, 73, of De Soto died March 12, 2025. Ms. Hillman worked as a factory worker for Pyro Technics. She was a member of Amvets Post 48 and VFW Post 1831. In her free time, she enjoyed fishing, going to the races, playing bingo, shopping and entertaining everyone. Born May 26, 1951, in De Soto, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Osia and Teresa M. (Warden) Osia.
She is survived by two daughters: Patti (Anthony Helms) Pashia of De Soto and JoAnn Douglas of De Soto; a brother: Lindell (Pam) Osia of De Soto; two sisters: Betty Bourisaw of De Soto and Kathy Kneip of De Soto; three grandchildren: Jarrod (Abigail) Behr, Tyler Pashia and Matthew Holmes; seven great-grandchildren: Bryson, Abel, Kynzie, Dexi, Hunter, Eli and Sam; and many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by two brothers: Jerry (Linda) Oshia and Randy Osia; two sisters: Mary Lou (Fred) Carr and Brenda Jane Benton; and a brother-in-law: Bill Bourisaw.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. today, March 18, at Mahn Funeral Home, 900 N. Main, in De Soto. A funeral Mass is scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 19, at Saint Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 504 S. 3rd St., in De Soto. Burial will follow in the Calvary Cemetery in De Soto. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home.
