Sandra Kay (Owens) Baugh, 81, of Villa Ridge died Oct. 16, 2024, at her home following a short illness. Mrs. Baugh was a homemaker and worked at All Star Distributing as a bookkeeper and office manager for most of her career until her retirement. More recently, she worked part-time at Geisert’s Farm to You Market and then Dollar Tree. She was a member of Eureka United Methodist Church, now known as The River at Eureka. Born June 18, 1943, in Rombauer, she was the daughter of Darrel D. and Lillian M. Owens, fondly known as “Moye" and "Poye.”
She was preceded in death by her husband: Noel Baugh, whom she married on March 27, 1965, in Rombauer.
She is survived by a daughter: Michelle Baugh of Villa Ridge; a son: Ed (Jenny) Baugh of Eureka; twin granddaughters: Madeline and Isabelle Baugh of Eureka; a brother: Darrel “Bud” (Sharon) Owens of San Antonio, Texas; and many other family members and friends.
She also was preceded in death by a sister: Jean Ann Ragsdale.
Visitation is scheduled for 4 p.m. until a celebration of life at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22, at Schrader Funeral Home, 108 N. Central Ave., in Eureka, officiated by the Rev. David Babb, associate pastor of The River at Eureka. An additional visitation is scheduled from 11 a.m. until a funeral service at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23, at Rombauer General Baptist Church, 119 Erb St., in Rombauer, officiated by Brother Kevin Murray, of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Piggott, Ark. Burial will be in Rombauer Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are under the direction of Schrader Funeral Home.
